Bollinger Bands

A moving average wrapped in volatility bands a set number of standard deviations away.

Bollinger Bands wrap a moving average in an upper and lower band placed a chosen number of standard deviations away, so the bands widen when volatility rises and narrow when it falls. Price tagging a band is not itself a signal; traders watch squeezes (very narrow bands) and expansions. Sóng can alert on band touches.
