ATO / ATC (periodic matching)

The opening and closing call auctions that set a Vietnamese stock's open and close price.

ATO (at-the-open) and ATC (at-the-close) are periodic call auctions on HOSE that set the day's opening and closing prices. Instead of continuous matching, orders are collected and matched at a single clearing price. ATO runs before the open; ATC runs before the close and determines the official closing price used for the index.
