Round lot (lô)

The standard trading unit on Vietnamese exchanges; odd amounts trade separately.

A round lot (lô chẵn) is the standard order size on Vietnamese exchanges, 100 shares on HOSE. Orders must be in multiples of the lot; amounts smaller than one lot are odd lots (lô lẻ) that trade through a separate mechanism, often at a small discount. The lot size affects how finely a position can be sized.
